The Church’s Communion Discipline

The Church admits to Holy Communion those who have been Baptized with water in the name of the Holy Trinity; believe with the Church in Our Lord’s Real Presence in the Sacrament; and have made their spiritual preparation to receive Him.  If at all possible fasting one hour before receiving Holy Communion is expected.
